Project 1:10
There are seven advanced training sessions at which specially produced DVDs, produced in six different language, are presented. They hear from some of the best teachers in the former Soviet Union in how to personally and effectively present the Gospel to at least 10 people over the Christmas holidays. It's very practical teaching with remarkable results.
Independent Bible Correspondence School
The
IBCS is still foundational for our MITs. There are 35 courses available
in the Russian language and the first five courses are now available in
Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uzbek, and Tajik. Translation work continues on Turkmen
and Ukrainian. As funds are available, additional courses will be
translated into the languages of Central Asia. Bible Mission’s
well-trained instructors are in contact with the MITs on at least a
monthly basis. Courses are graded, advice is given for improvement, and
the MIT moves on to the next course when ready.
Conferences and Seminars
BMI sponsors and co-sponsors a variety of one- to three-day
conferences and seminars designed to challenge, motivate, and encourage
believers throughout the former Soviet Union. MITs who attend these events receive
valuable information they can immediately apply to their personal
evangelism efforts.
Resource Kits
Bible Mission has developed a DVD-based series of messages presented by some of the
brightest and best Bible teachers in the former Soviet Union. These
sessions provide answers to some of life’s toughest questions such as
How Do I Know God Exists? Is the Bible really the Word of God? Is Jesus the Only Way to Heaven? How Do I Get to Heaven?
and more. Resources like these are invaluable for small group leaders,
church planters, and MITs who are regularly faced with these questions
in that predominantly Muslim part of the world.
